SAP HANA Course Content Tutorial for Beginners

So what is S / 4HANA? Today I want to share seven things you need to know about S / 4HANA with you. In the end, I will share some good resources with you and talk about something that really drove me crazy the first time I heard it.

So, for no further reason, let's get started. So what is S / 4HANA? In short, it is a new generation ERP. In 2015 SAP announced its next big news. And this is S / 4HANA. Here you can see the evolution of SAP's ERP suite. We started in 1979 with R / 2. In '92, we released R / 3, and then in 2004 we went out with ERP. And in 2015 we created S4 / HANA.

So the second number is really fast in the S4HANA memory database. Consume and process a lot of data. Why is S / 4HANA so fast? There is an excellent article that I collected here on LinkedIn which describes how data is stored in the S / 4HANA database and how data is stored in S / 4HANA.

So traditionally the data is stored in the form of rows. With S / 4HANA it is transformed into columns, which makes accessing high volume data easy and efficient. S / 4HANA offers an extraordinary user experience. If so, you will hear about SAP Fiori.

I will show you an example of the SAP Fiori screen. I went to type Google into SAP Fiori and did an image search. And this is one of those images that appear. And this is as typical as the SAP Fiori screen. SAP Fiori is responsive, so you can run it on any device, you can run it on the desktop and a smartphone and you can run it on a tablet. And it automatically adjusts its times, depending on the device you use. So it's really cool.

In the context of S / 4HANA you have heard of the digital core or digital transformation. And S / 4HANA is truly the digital core of a future company. And it allows users to use the main Internet of Things,

For example. This way you can connect sensors with your digital core and use that information from those sensors to make better business decisions. And these sensors usually generate a lot of data and therefore a fast database capable of processing all this data is needed. We are able to access the digital core with all types of devices and dates back to the beautiful user experience with SAP Fiori

We can then take advantage of the built-in analysis so that we can report on data in real time. We no longer need to own a corporate warehouse. We may have it, but we don't have to have it anymore. And we can run reports in real time and get insights in real time. Digital Core also integrates with other SAP Cloud solutions, such as SAP SuccessFactors for the public. Or our solution is corporate networks like Arriba. And it also connects to social networks.

And one of the networks developed by SAP is SAP Jam, which is similar to writing for a company like Social Network and Facebook. S / 4HANA supports ten laboratories (business lines) and 25 sectors.

I will show you which laboratories are supported by S / 4HANA. So, I went to the S / 4HANA home page and scrolled down and there is a list of all the business lines supported by S / 4HANA. Then start with finance, human resources, procurement and supply, supply chain, production, research and development, asset management, sales, marketing and commerce and customer service.

So these 10 LOBs are part of S / 4HANA. The sixth thing you need to know about S / 4HANA is that you can run it in the cloud or you can run it in the cloud. After a while I will show you how to get a free trial for both the cloud and on-premise in this video. Here's the thing that really blew me away when I first saw it. S / 4HANA can greatly simplify data imprinting.

How they simplified the inventory management data model. So, on the left you can see 26 tables in the traditional inventory management database. And then you can see to the right, it's simply simplified into a single table. Single table! Isn't it fascinating? From 26 to a single table. When I first saw it, it really drove me crazy. As I said at the beginning, I want to share some resources. The number one resource I would like to share with you is the S / 4HANA homepage.

So, here is the S / 4HANA homepage and it contains a lot of information on features, customers, implementation options, training and communities. So go to SAP.com/S/4HANA and you will come to this page with great information. From that website, you can find some resources that I want to highlight. Number one is this valuable advisor.

So, for example, it starts with the request to choose a business line and asks you what your main priorities are and generates a relationship and gives you a better understanding of how to drive the S / 4HANA value for your production activity. The second resources you can access from that S / 4HANA homepage are the top ten reasons to choose S / 4HANA today. And this is a good visual website.

For example, you can find out how to improve order fulfillment by 25%. The third resource I would like to share with you is that you can access the S / 4HANA "S / 4HANA in about two minutes" homepage. So this is a series of videos and other resources to show you the dramatic impact of S / 4HANA on ERP.

The second resource that I would like to recommend are the learning maps created by SAP. You have a link to these learning maps from the S / 4HANA homepage. I got a practical map for Big Data Architect. The good thing about this is that it not only shows all the classroom training or online training available, but also shows the courses in OpenSap.

So Open Sap is a huge open online course similar to courses. And when you click on the link to Open SAP, it includes all types of courses not only for S / 4HANA but also for other aspects of the SAP ecosystem.

For example, here is the digital transformation and its impact. So from that learning map that I showed you before. SAP offers a free trial version for the cloud and on-premise edition.

So directly from the homepage, you can go to your free trial or click on this button and the homepage for SAP S / 4HANA trials will take you home and when you scroll down, you will have a free trial for Cloud Edition and it's free for you for 14 days and the on-premise edition The process is active and lasts 30 days. That's all you need to know about the SAP S / 4HANA and S / 4HANA brief. Below you will find links to all the resources I mentioned in this video and some others. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my Ingo's Classroom channel for more videos if you haven't already. Thanks for watching and next time!
